| Thank you for supporting Westside Food Bank’s Annual Hunger Walk. Our signature event, each year the Hunger Walk raises funds to support Westside Food Bank’s mission to distribute as much nutritious food as possible to local food assistance charities and to reduce food waste on the Westside of Los Angeles County. We hope you can join us for this fun-filled event for all ages. The Hunger Walk will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the Science Quad of Santa Monica High School. (601 Pico Blvd. Santa Monica). Registration begins at 12:30. Festivities will include entertainment, a “moonbounce”, facepainting, fabulous prizes and great food and drink. If you are not able to make it, we understand and want you to know that your tax-deductible contribution will go a long way toward helping our less fortunate neighbors achieve greater food security and self-sufficiency.
