| On October 11, 2008 volunteers from the Sadie Mae Foundation Animal Rescue League will walk the 5K portion of the Hartford Marathon to raise money for the shelter. We survive solely on donations from you to pay for shots, spay/neuter procedures, food, bedding and shelter (which includes the high cost of heating oil). We can't do it without you - and with your help we've saved thousands of unwanted animals from euthanasia, and placed them into loving homes. Please support your Sadie Mae volunteer!! We thank you!!
