For nearly a century, National Braille Press has fought the fight for literacy, bringing books, education, and awareness to blind and visually-impaired people, their families, and society at-large. Our work has many facets, but centers on three primary goals: Literacy in the Family, Literacy for Education & Careers, and Literacy for Life. Working together, we can raise awareness and funds for the blind.

Runners and walkers of all levels of ability are encouraged to participate in the Vision 5K Run & Walk. It takes most people between 20 minutes and an hour to complete the course. There will also be a Kids' Fun Run, the Blindfold Challenge, prizes and an optional educational segment for sighted runners--and lunch provided by Soul Food, Anna's Taqueria and others.

We invite you to run or walk to support the Press's work for braille literacy. We invite you to take up the challenge of raising sponsorships for your efforts. But most of all, we invite you to join us on what promises to be a great day of community and individual achievement!
