The holiday season is fast approaching and as we reflect upon our many blessings, 456,000 individuals in Orange County will go without food sometime each month. These children, seniors, and members of working families are hungry, not because they simply skipped dinner or didn't have time to eat, but because they are unable to provide a basic meal for themselves and/or their family, primarily due to the high cost of living in Orange County.
We, at Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, have been instrumental for 22 years in providing help for our neighbors in need--and we are asking you to please open your hearts to the 200,000 individuals we serve each month.
