Thank you for taking the time to look at our page. We are TEAM MICAH and we started fundraising for Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in 2006. So far we have raised over $26,000 for this wonderful hospital. HOW AWESOME!! All donations from this page go directly to TSRH and benefit ALL the children that receive care there.

Micah has been a patient at TSRH since he was 4 months old. Micah was born with Caudal Regression Syndrome and is missing the lumbar section of his spine. This caused Micah's legs and feet to be severely clubbed when he was born. TSRH started serial casting on his legs and feet at our second visit. After the 4 months of casting Micah wore AFO's on his feet for 2 years to keep them from turning back in. Today Micah is brace free thanks to TSRH. In 2006 TSRH started the process to help Micah get his frist wheel chair. This has been such a blessing to him and has given him so much independance. Micah visits TSRH several times a year for pediatric check-ups, orthopedic appointments and urology visits. TSRH has been an answer to our prayers. The level of care they provide goes above and beyond anything we could have ever expected. Micah does not think of TSRH as a place to see his doctors; it is a place he goes to see his friends.

Every year we run the White Rock Marathon to help raise money for this amazing hospital. This year our goal is to have 100+ family and friends running in the marathon for Team Micah. Please consider supporting our efforts this year by making a tax-deductialbe donation to this wonderful hospital. TSRH has been around for over 85 years and has never charged a single patient a single penny. The hospital operates soley from donations.
