Thank you so much for considering a contribution to Tri-State Parkinson’s Wellness. Our Tri-State Chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible (to the extent allowed by law for each donor).
Gifts may be made in memory or honor of loved ones, and the Chapter will send an acknowledgment of such gifts as directed by the donor.
As a volunteer-driven affiliate of the non-profit American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), our Chapter’s efforts center on:
~ providing information via a telephone Helpline and other measures to help patients, families, caregivers and health professionals make connections that promote wellness in living with Parkinson’s
~ sponsoring and supporting educational presentations, exercise classes, support groups, and other activities and programs for the Parkinson's community
~ building awareness about Parkinson’s and reaching out to find and assist individuals and families affected by “PD”
~ raising funds for local services and for national research.
