| Welcome to my webpage for the Tour Du Rouge - a 6-day, 511-mile bike tour from Houston to New Orleans. The ride starts in 2-days, Sunday, May 3rd. We arrive in New Orleans on Friday, May 8th. We shall now see how all my training prepared me for this adventure. The recent rains in Houston demonstrated the impact of the Red Cross in our community. Red Cross shelters were set up around the city in areas most affected by the flooding. Again and again the Red Cross is there for you and me showing why we need to support this organization. Thank you for contributing to the Red Cross' continuing efforts to rebuild the Gulf Coast regions and restore hope. You are now a major part of their worthwhile work, which will aid hundreds of thousands of people now and in the future. I have donated $2250 and you and I together have already surpassed my initial $10,000 fundraising goal by raising $12,600+. But I want to do more and I hope you do also. Together our donations will touch many lives. You may make a donation for the ride through June 15, 2009.
