I'm proud to be involved in the Tour du Rouge as a ModSpace rider! A ModSpace employee for over 10 years, I am currently the Director of Operations for the South Central Region (covering Houston to New Orleans). In fact it was me that initiated ModSpace becoming the title sponsor of this great cause!
My Bicycling Bio
I began "long distance" cycling in 2003, completing the following multi-day rides plus numerous 1 day rides:
- MS 150 San Antonio, TX to Corpus Christi, TX (2 times)
- MS 150 Houston, TX to Austin, TX
- MS 150 Dallas, TX to Ardmore, OK
- BAK- Bicycle Across Kansas - 500 miles Colorado border to Missouri border summer of 2007 - with 8 year old son on tandem!
As a 47 yr old, recently widowed with two children, I know the Tour du Rouge will be a challenge... but I am ready! The American Red Cross was a favorite charity of my late wife and all contributions to Tour du Rouge for my ride will be made in her memory.
