| Hershey's Tour de Pink 2009 is ready to roll. The annual multi-day, 220-mile cycling event is scheduled for October 2-5, 2009. 175 riders will arrive at Chocolate World in Hershey, PA, Thurs, Oct. 1st for orientation and a send-off dinner. They begin riding Friday morning and finish cycling Sunday in Clinton, NJ. Riders celebrate in New York City Monday morning with a ceremonial victory celebration. Riders will raise at least $2,500 each for the Young Survival Coalition (the "YSC").
The ride benefits the Young Survival Coalition, the premier international network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the critical concerns and issues unique to young women and breast cancer. Through action, advocacy and awareness, the YSC seeks to educate and influence the medical, research, breast cancer, and legislative communities to address breast cancer in women 40 and under, and to serve as a point of contact for young women living with breast cancer. One-hundred percent of the money riders raise goes to the YSC.
We invite you to become a rider or sponsor a rider. Riders of all levels and abilities are invited to join us. Click Here to Register!
All riders must raise a minimum of $2,500, or self pledge via check or credit card to participate.
