| My name is Kieran Geehan. I am a Durango, Colorado local and cyclist with a goal of making a difference in a cause I strongly believe in.
On August 26th of this year I, along with 300-500 riders, including the legendary OLN Tour de France commentator, retired pro-racer and Durango local, Bob Roll and possibly to include Discovery Channels Tom Danielson, will partake in a local charity ride with the aim of raising upwards of $50,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The ride will take place in the beautiful San Juan chain of the Rocky Mountains, in Durango, Colorado (Southwest Colorado, Four Corners area).
The Lance Armstrong Foundation has a very special place in my own heart. As with many of us, I have been personally touched through the loss of many family members, friends and co-workers to the battle of cancer. I have also been associated with many of the same friends and family who have received strength and support from the Lance Armstrong Foundation Survivorship Program. |
