Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
Can you believe it? This is it. We leave very early tomorrow morning for Lake Tahoe. Our bikes are on the way. We loaded them onto a truck last weekend, and they'll be in Tahoe when we get there. Now it all over but the big ride!
This has truly been an odyssey and an adventure. Who would have ever thought I would say the words "climb" and "fun" in the same sentence! I can't thank our coach, Tom Couch, enough for getting us ready.
This year's cycling team is a dedicated group and everyone has been working together to raise funds toward our individual goals. In order to do the Team in Training ride I've committed to raise $4,800 to help The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in its mission of finding cures for blood cancers. I NEED your help to meet my goal.
As always, thanks for supporting me and my efforts. You all give me the strength to stick with the training even when it feels overwhelming and like I must be out of my mind to climb mountains on a bicycle!
