Cycling to Save Lives

Finger Lakes Triathlon, September 2007

Hi! Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm Rachel Kurchin, a 16-year-old high school junior from Rochester, NY. I love to knit, read, surf the web, ski, and snowboard. But wait! There's more! My mom and I are training to participate in America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride, a 100-mile cycle around Lake Tahoe on June 1, 2008. We are doing it to support the Leukiemia and Lymphoma Society through their Team in Training Program. In this program, each participant pledges to raise a certain amount of money and in return receives transportation, coaching, and moral support on their rigorous training journey. Each participant also has a local 'honored patient' to help them connect more closely with the cause, one which is very worthwhile and I hope merits your donation!
