Mission accomplished!! I broke the both the gosls I had set for myself. I went over $8,000 in donations, and broke 6:30 in the marathon. It was a beautiful day for a race.
Thanks to my coaches, the two Maureens and Chris for encouraging me and being there for me during training. Also thanks go to Vici Schultz, mom of our honored teammate. It was totally awesome having you with me for most of the marathon. Watching you deal with all the new challenges of the marathon gave me a greater appreciation of what it's like to be the mom of a leukemia patient. Having you there reminded me of why I keep coming back for more.
