Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
Hi, my name is Kevin Looney and I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers.
I am currently in training for the Group Health Seattle to Portland Classic, which is a 200 mile bike ride. It will be a lot of work, but it's just a small thing that I can do to help others. Maybe doing a 200 mile bike ride isn't for everyone, but you can still help by donating money here on my donation site. I appreciate anything that you can donate and I hope that you will also pass on word of what I'm doing to friends and coworkers because every dollar that we can raise will help in the fight against blood cancer.
I included a picture of myself on here to prove that I'm a real person who is really doing this. I work full-time and I go to school full-time and I'm still finding time to do this because I believe in helping others. I'll get a picture of me and my bike on here as soon as I can! :)
