Racing to Save Lives
Hi friends, This is my final push to meet my goal of raising $5,600 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! After a very successful art auction I am only $500 away from my goal. I can't thank everyone enough for their support over the past 4 months.
We shipped our bikes off this morning and are having our final practice this Saturday. I can't believe that in less than 2 weeks I will be at the race! I feel very prepared both mentally and physically due to the long hard practices that our great coach, Lance, has put us through. After riding 30-40 miles around the hilly suburbs of Seattle, a 25 mile ride is going to feel great! And swimming with sea turtles won't be too bad either.
Thank you again for your support and I have had such a great time with this organization that I have already decided to sign up again next year!
