In memory of my dad

Welcome to my Lake Tahoe Century Ride Team In Training home page.

I am training to participate in my fourth (4th) Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's TNT race. My first race (1999) was to mark my dad’s cancer cure milestone, five years. Now my fourth race (2006) is in his memory after he lost his 13 year battle with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

I am racing to raise funds and awareness that we all can make a difference in someone’s life and to help STOP leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. This is my contribution to try to save someone else’s life since my dad’s could not be saved. I run, sweat, wake up early, and will spending too many hours on my bike so that my nieces and nephews, your chidren and grandchildren, my co-workers, friends and families from all over the world, that maybe one of them will be saved because the money I raised funded that one researcher that found that one cure or a medicine to ease the pain or a new treatment to prolong life.
