Michelle's Race for a Cause
Racing to Save Lives in honor of Joe Bombe and Terry DeBaun
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I achieved a personal goal in 2004 by running my first Marathon in Chicago. It was an amazing experience! After being sidelined with a stress fracture in 2005, I am once again training, but wanted to look for a larger goal and a way for my run make a difference.
I am participating as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. Team In Training is a special group of runners who are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. This cause is very special to me. I'm completing this marathon in honor of my brother and father. My brother died of lymphoma in Dec of 1997 and my father in March of 1998. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
