Racing to Save Lives in memory of Steve Libassi
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am once again participanting as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. This time, I'm going to be running in the LaSalle Bank Chicago Marathon on October 7, 2007. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
As you may know, I lost my father, Steve Libassi, to Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia on July 6, 2005. He was only 47. Since his diagnosis and ultimate passing, I've been participating with TNT and have raised a lot of money with your help. I once again ask for your help. I know that there is no amount of money that can bring back my father. However, the money raised may allow another child to have their father around for a long time.
