Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
Firstly, I would like to thank you all for visiting my site. As many of you are aware I am training to participate in the triatholon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives, my goal is $7000. I'm completing this event in honour of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
I would like to share with you all my story. So here is goes... I am doing in memory of Naoise. As many of you are aware my little 8 year old cousin, Naoise, battled with Leukemia for five years. It was on the 15th of February 2002 that she finally lost the battle. She was an amazing girl who was exceptionally talented and a fun loving kid. She could light up anyone's day and had a great sense of humour.
Any donation to support this cause is greatly appreciated and will help advance the Society's mission.
