Message Behind The Music

This forest belongs to all of us. Let's give everyone a chance to walk the trail for as long as they can.

Most of you know me as a songstress, but there are bigger things in my heart than melodies and lyrics. There comes a time in life when we all realize that our connection to the universe is more profound than we ever knew, meaning that our reach can also extend deeper if we allow it to. I was born in Vietnam, and came to Canada at the age of 6. Through the benevolence of this country and its resources, I am a happy 26 year old writer and performer who couldn't ask for much more. I am eternally grateful for everything that I have received, and have a growing desire to give back to the earth that has kept me so blessed. Through much searching and reflection, it has became clear to me that my music has to attach itself to a broader message. That message is of hope, change and positivity. Running this marathon is a testament to myself and my friends and family that I can make a difference, and even though it is not directly related to my music, it encompasses the message that I wish to spread. I and my partner Bobby James (the other half of our music project Destineak), are running this together, knowing that crossing the finish line will forever inspire our sound.
