Welcome to my Team In Training home page. While I'm having a great time training for my marathon, the real reason for all of this is to raise money for research and patient services. Did you know that many of the treatments commonly used today for treating all types of cancers came out of leukemia research? WOW! Think about the people you know who have surrvived cancer through treatments like chemotherapy and I'm sure you can find a good reason to donate. BUT THERE'S MORE! Patient Services also come out of your donations. Things like parking in the Medical Center add up and Patient Services help with things like that. They also help ease transition back into the classroom for children with Leukemia by educating the class on what to expect. There are so many things your money can do to improve a person's life.
