Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training (TNT). All of us on TNT are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Many of us who are participating, like myself, are cancer survivors. This will be my third marathon with TNT and my first full marathon (42.2 km).
I'm completing this event in honor of Jacob, a wonderful 9 year old boy with Down Syndrome, who unfortunately was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia in April. Jacob is a real hero!
