3 Mountains 3 States 1 Cause
Friends, on May 5th our Nashville Team In Training will take on the 3 State 3 Mountain Challenge around Chattanooga. As I climb up Suck Creek Mountain, Sand Mountain, and Lookout Mountain in this year's Challenge, all the power and determination will come from those facing Leukemia and Lymphoma: our friends and family members withstanding treatment and all the brave survivors who carry on. My contribution would count for little, if it weren't for your donations. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is a great ally in the fight against blood cancers. From education to funding for research and treatment, the Society helps us focus our effort and giving. Significant gains have been made since individual fundraising and organization have joined efforts. I join the fight to honor my mother-in-law Carolyn who faces Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Through chemotherapy she abides. She appreciates life's joys, like grandson Griffin, and she soldiers through the exhaustion and pains. She inspires our entire family to learn more and fight more to end the ravages of Leukemia. Thank you for joining; thank you for giving. ~ Van
