Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
Yes, I am doing it again! As many of you know, last year I joined Team In Training to run my first marathon! It was such an incredible experience that I can't get enough!
I am now 3 weeks away from my event. The training has been tough...my tush hurts from all of the miles I have put in on my bike...I think my closest relative is now a fish...and I am now running in my sleep! (thos 5 am workouts are killing my sleep patterns!) It has been fun though! Our team is raising amazing amounts of money...but the battle isn't over...we still need to find a cure for cancer! And with my inside scoop, I know that the Society needs to raise 2.5 million dollars by June 30th to meet their goals for this year!!!! All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
