10 Years!!!
It has been 10 years since my son Peter was diagnosed, on May 29, 1997, with T-Cell Leukemia!
I am asking for your support once again in helping me raise funds as I train to complete the Maui 1/2 Marathon and to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The treatments for Leukemia have come a long way since Peter was diagnosed. My goal is to fund money for research to reduce the side affects of the treatments and provide a quality of life for the cancer patients. The monies raised by me and my fellow TNT’rs go to research efforts at Stanford University, UC Berkeley and UC San Francisco.
Breakthrough drugs such as Bexxar, which has successfully treated patients with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, were funded by monies raised by Team In Training.
