It was our beloved dogs that brought us together . . . . Erika, Chris, James and myself. Erika's four and a half year battle against Non-hodgkin's and Hodgkin's lymphoma ended with her passing on January 30, 2007, but her heroic legacy lives on forever. She fought with the heart and soul of a giant and touched ours and so many lives with her spirit. It is with great honor that I can call her and Chris friends, to run the Disneyland Half Marathon in her memory and to raise funds for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
