Welcome! This is my fundraising page to help those with any of the blood cancers. I feel that I need to live my life to the fullest, and if that means being crazy, that means I'm going to be crazy- especially when there are so many that can't. Blood Cancer fighters have made me realize that life is too short and fragile, and that I certainly have no excuse to complain when I'm tired or my legs hurt on a bike ride. I can fight for them, just in a different way!
I am currently training for Ironman Canada 08 with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
