My Honoree and the real Hero, My Father In Law, David Cooper

My Father-In-Law David Cooper, whose picture is shown here in my website, was diagnosed with Myelofibrosis last year, a life threatening disease a bit like leukemia that involves the bone marrow no longer producing blood cells - red, white and platelets. He was very fortunate to find a donor match from the National Marrow Donor Program's database. Out of 5,000,000 people there were 2 matches!! ONE was available to donate for his procedure. David had the transplant in April of 2007 and was on the road to recovery UNTIL LAST WEEK. Leukemia has been hiding out in his spinal cord. Please help David and I stay motivated by making a donation to the society. I am training to participate in a Marathon event June 1st in San Diego as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program. David is fighting for his LIFE! LLS has given money for research, financial aide to patients and medical treatments for the last 20 years. Help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. The patients are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
