Michelle rides her local course through Seven Hills. She climbs all seven of them!

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this bike ride in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and other cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Vicki Lubbers is my designated honored team mate. She is 54 yrs young, and she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on July 2, 2002. She is currently in remission and receiving maintenance chemotherapy.

Honored cancer fighters and survivors who are dear to me:

  • Garrett won his fight against leukemia.
  • Laurette recently lost her's against cancer.
  • Bill lost his battle, but Dorothy and Carol are winning theirs against breast cancer.
  • John recently waged a courageous fight against colon cancer and is now cancer-free.
