Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

Swim almost a mile, bike 25 miles and then run 6 miles. What have I gotten myself into?!? I am training for the June 22 Philadelphia Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I'm completing this event in honor of 14 year old Andrew McDonough. Andrew was diagnosed in January 2007, and passed away in July 2007, after a brave 6-month battle against this disease. It's people like Andrew who are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
