Teresa DeLisle's Team In Training Page
Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
I am training to participate in the Walt Disney Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
I hope you'll visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!

I just finished my 4th team in training practice (I missed one during my KPMG training in Orlando). It was a good 4 mile run starting at 6:30am. I can't believe that it's going to get earlier and earlier on Saturday mornings. My challenge will be motvating myself to get up and run on the weekends. I'll keep you updated on how that goes. I'm pretty sure that running will be the easy part, fundraising will be the real challenge for me. It's a great cause and I appreciate everyone's support. And a special thank you to Scott for placing the first donation on my page!

I just got back from my six-mile run. We've been having a lot of storms, so I was worried that training would be canceled, but the weather at 6am was just fine. It's been getting earlier and earlier which is good in order to avoid the heat, but it makes it so that I can only sleep in one day a week. I have an audit client in West Palm Beach, FL that I commute to everyday, so I have to get up pretty early all week long too. It will be nice when the weather cools down. Right now when we run it is 80 and humid, and that's before the sun comes out. It's been good getting to know more people and the people that I am working to raise money for. There are several very young children that our team is running in honor of. They all got leukemia before the age of 5 and have been fighting it ever since, It's crazy to imagine having to cope with that as a parent or child. It makes my fundraising even more important. Thank you again for your support!
