Racing to Save Lives

Me and BFF TNT Gina after riding the Rickenbacker Causeway - the highest point in Miami!

I would like to welcome each and every one of you to my Team In Training home page.

I am training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin Lymphoma and Myeloma from taking more lives.

I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

In addition to fundraising for the cause, I will be completing an intensive 3.5 month training program to build up endurance for a century bike ride (100-mile) that will begin in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and finish in California. Lake Tahoe is the city that thousands of volunteers will come together to work as a team to make it through this seemingly impossible ride. And best of all, those individuals who have been diagnosed with these cancers will be on hand to encourage us to never give up and to fight for the finish line, similarly to their fight with the disease.

I am asking for you to make a donation for the cause, no matter how big or small any contribution is greatly appreciated. I feel that we can work together to make a difference in others lives, one dollar at a time!

I hope you'll visit my web site often and send others that you think may want to make a difference. Most of all, I want to thank you for your support! Jackye
