Racing to Save Lives
Mahalo nui loa! I've finished the marathon in a time of 4 hours, 31 minutes, and 33 seconds. Thank you very much for all your donations and words of support. I will probably do this next year, so I hope I can count on your support. Thanks again! (12/13/05)
Mahalo! Thanks to your support, I've raised my fundraising minimum of $1,600! However, it's not too late to make a donation to the cause. The fight against leukemia won't end when the marathon does. Thanks for your support! (12/2/05)
Welcome to my Team in Training home page!
I'm a veteran of six marathons, so I'm no stranger to pain and suffering. But for someone who lives with leukemia or other blood-related cancers, everyday living can seem like a marathon. That's why I'm dedicating this upcoming Honolulu Marathon to raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society that will fund research that will eventually lead to cures for blood-related cancers.
Want to make a donation? Of course you do, or you wouldn't be here, right? :) Just fill out the form on the right and click DONATE. Check here for updates on my fundraising status.
You can also find regular updates on my training and fundraising, and other leukemia-related ponderings, at my blog: http://www.pineapplejuice.net/marathon.
Thank you for your support!
