Honoring Zachary Moore and Terri Driscoll!
Welcome to my Team In Training home page. If this is your first time at my site, then you might not know that I have joined Team-in-Training to run the 26.2 mile marathon in Dublin, Ireland on October 29, 2007.
The weather has been getting cooler and so my training is back outside! I love the Fall! My plane ticket and hotel are booked and my muscles are sore! I think I'm almost ready. I just need to buy a running "rain" jacket as I imagine it will be wet on race day!
The deadline for my donation goal is fast approaching (October 1st)--so remember that donating online is safe, fast and easy! Also you get a nice tax receipt for your donation and do not have to wait on a check to process!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a truly worthy cause. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives, and also to bring awareness to the public of how we can defeat it!
Zachary Moore is in very good spirits and it is amazing to watch this little boy and his family fighting his cancer. What a true inspiration he is and at such a young age. Unfortunately, my cousin Terri was just admitted to hospital and tests found cancer in her spinal fluid. Please send her your prayers!!
