Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in the 2007 Marine Corp Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. This includes my dad, Steve, who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. As I train and get stronger to run my race, he will be going through chemo. It scares me to think that while I am preparing for this race, my daddy will be in the biggest and most important battle of his life- beating down cancer! We have already vowed to train together after his treatments to climb the mountain in Currahee, GA that the "Band of Brothers" had to run. He is ready to fight this fight! These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
