Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I am training to participate in the San Diego Rock "N Roll Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Many of you know I ran the Honolulu Marathon in 2000 in honor of my uncle and one of the great joys of that expericence was crossing the finish line on his behalf but also on behalf of more than 30 people - many I did not know - but learned of thier stories and their struggles - sometimes ultimate- with blood borne and other cancers through friends and family. Whether you chosse to make a donation or not, I invite you to give me the name of anyone you would like me to run in honor of and I will proudly add their name to my jersey. Thanks for your support!
