Ride of the Century!!!!!

I am asking for your help! I am working on a fundraiser to participate in the century cycle ride in October. The century is a 100 mile bike ride (yes, all in 1 day) to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. I am trying to raise money to help find a cure for blood cancers. I know a lot of you either have direct personal experience or indirect through family and friends with some type of cancer. So, I am asking you to help me to raise the 2100 dollars that I need to participate in this great race against cancer. Anything helps; one dollar, 25 cents, I don't care what you put in, every little bit helps in the research of finding a cure!
June 23, 2008 ---- Ride 35 miles!!
I wanted to give you an update! I met my team for the first time since we've started training. I've never met so many wonderful people at one time. Each one having their own very personal story to share about why they are doing this. Who in their life has been or is being affected by one of the many cancers out there today. I wanted to praise my team and let them know this is an honor. I am proud to be riding with such a great group of people!
July 18, 2008 ------- Event Race Tomorrow!!!
I started my preparation for the race, even with all the traveling! I feel confident that our team will do great. Tomorrow is another 35mile ride, but it's a little race in comparison to our big one. I can't wait! Starts tomorrow at 6:30am in Lake Worth - any locals who want to come cheer us on - please do so! If you don't know where that is - shoot over an email! Bring your donations!
