I am training to participate in the San Diego Half Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I am completing this event in honor of Renee's father, who was diagnosed with Lyphoma last year. He has a rare and aggressive form of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and was diagnosed at an early stage. Although it has been painful, and tough at times, we are very hopeful for his recovery. He is the real hero on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
