Racing to Save Lives
Anyone who has spent anytime with me knows that I am passionate about cycling. Now I'm linking my passion for cycling to the fight against cancer. A long time friend, Russ Tapler was diagnosed with Lymphoma in the fall of 2006. It's been hard to watch him battle this cancer. The effects of his of chemo and radiation therapy have been rough. When I learned that 300 people a day in the United States would be diagnosed with lymphoma, leukemia or a related cancer, I felt that I had to do something to support Russ and the thousands of other people that are battling these cancers. Team In Training is my chance to do that. If you can, make a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Together we can help patients, families, physicians and scientists fight the battle against these all to common cancers.
