Jaclyn Magi- The Countdown to Gameday Begins!!!!!!!
"We must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference, and that a small group of determined people can change the course of history"
First and foremost, THANK
YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!
Up to date, your
donations have aided 296 families battling these deadly blood cancers!!!!
Allow me to introduce
myself…
My name
is Jaclyn Magi and I am 25 years old. I
am training with TNT to participate in my very first marathon on April 26th,
2008 in
I
started training in December of ’07…My longest run so far has been 15 miles…and
it’s getting easier each time!!!
Although, sometimes I do like to be dramatic and say I can’t take it anymore J!!!!! This is a personal challenge that has pushed
me to new limits, ones that I really never even imagined!!!
Races I’ve completed so
far:
Frank Lebow Memorial Race (8 miles)
Bronx
Grand Prix Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
Colon
Cancer Challenge (9.3 miles)
And we are getting SO
CLOSE!!!...
The
survival rate for the most common form of childhood leukemia has improved from
4% in 1960 to 95% in 2006...but for those of you who know me...I don't settle
for anything less than 100% and were not there yet. Unfortunately, over 135,520 people in the
To get there…We NEED your
help!!!...
Any donation you can
make is sincerely appreciated!!! It will
go towards blood cancer research, education, and patient services. Local families will personally benefit from
your donations. Don’t forget that your
donation is 100% tax deductible.
This is a cause I hold
close to my heart…
I have
seen too many family members, friends, teammates, colleagues, and students
whose lives have been affected by these devastating diseases. Their courage,
strength and will to overcome are astounding. They are my heroes and my determination!!!
I'm completing this
event in honor of my grandmother, Millie Moscato
<3, and all individuals who are battling blood cancers...so that one day in
the very near future...they will be CURED!!!!
Please come back and visit
me!!!...
I hope
you'll visit my web site often to see my progress.
