Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to Team JoeMac. In February of 2007, I was diagnosed with Classic Hodgkins. This was the hardest thing I have ever dealt with and I am thankful for all the thoughts and prayers of my friends and family. If it wasnt for you, I don't know what I would have done. Everyday, I realize how lucky and blessed I was to get through this tough time. Now it is my chance to help those that aren't as lucky as me. Every 10 minutes, somebody dies from a blood related cancer. Being a survivor, it is my turn to give back. On July 20, 2008, I will participate in the Nautica New York City Triathlon. I am doing this to raise money for those who are not as lucky as me. Please join Team JoeMac and help me help those who need it. I will be racing in honor of myself and all the friends I have made along my journey to a healthy and cancer free life
