Wherever I went, I was runnin' (and biking and swimming)
Hi there. Welcome. So you are here because you have heard that I am participating in the 2008 NYC Triathlon. If you are like me at all, you may be wondering what on earth have I been smoking to make myself want to swim .9 miles, bike 25 miles through beautiful Yonkers, and run 6.1 miles through Central Park (while scenic, yes, it is nothing I have not run though before). I gotta be honest. For a really long time I have had this overwhelming desire to swim in the Hudson amongst the floating bodies and gasoline. Oh don't cry, Dad. I'm only kidding. In all seriousness, most of you know my mom passed away from cancer on November 9th, 2007. I'm running this for her and for all those who have been diagnosed with cancer in the past or will be in the future. I don't normally solicit money from people, unless it's because I ran out of cash at a bar at 2am and I need money for a cab, but I can't do this alone. So please, if you have ever been affected by someone with cancer in your life, I ask you to donate. Not only will it save me from charging $2500 on my credit card to reach my fund raising goal, but it will better yet help someone who needs it more than you or me. Thank you, and I really mean that.
