Welcome and thank you for visiting my Team In Training home page. A special thank you to those who are visiting my page again since the last marathon.
This time around I plan to out do my fundraising total as well as my time. For all who may not know I work at the NYU Clinical Cancer Center's Hematology Department. I'm completing this marathon in honor of the patients who I interact with daily as well as my grandmother who was recently diagnosed & treated for Bile Duct Cancer.
Many of the patients I interact with are dealing with other forms of cancer in addition to blood cancers. As if battling cancer isnt enough, they still have to deal with the stress of everyday life such as bills & family like the rest of us. These are the real heros, running a marathon is nothing compared to what they have to endure.
All of us at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission.
