Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
My participation in Team in Training consists of two goals. First of which, I am going to train and ride a hundred miles on my bike on this year's Montauk Ride. The other part is to raise at least $2,500 to go directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Together, these two parts are something you and I can do to make a difference in helping to stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I'm completing this event in the memory of my Father and all the people who are battling blood cancers. Many of my fellow team members have also been effected by these diseases and it shows how important this research is and that a cure be found. In the last seven years, research in the many ways that Lymphoma can be treated has improved dramatically, and much of it is from the money raised by people like you. It is empowering to think that I have a chance to make a difference in helping other people with this disease.
