Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am almost a month away from completing my training to participate in the Nike Women's Marathon on October 21, 2007 in San Francisco. As a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training, I am part of a team that is raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I dedicate my training in honor of those I have lost:
my uncle Chester (cholangiocarcinoma - gallbladder cancer), my grandmother (acute myelogenous leukemia - promyelocytic subtype), and my uncle Teh (stroke),
...and those who have survived:
my uncles James (nasopharyngeal carcinoma) and our honored team mates
...and those still fighting every day.
