WE DID IT!
Dan and I ran a triathlon
Welcome to my VICTORY Team In Training home page.
Yes!!! The radiation and chemo are both behind me and I am on the road to recovery. Training found me learning how important bike helmets are as mine saved my life in a Central Park crash. With my promise to do this for the team I pushed myself eating again, gaining strength and energy by the day and with Dan at my side we ran a Triathlon. As glad as I am that I am healing I can't forget the others still in treatment or my friends and family who were not as fortunate to benefit from research and advances. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training has been my support and inspiration. Dan and I wore ribbons in memory of our grandfather, our Aunts Michelle and Ginny and our cousin Gale and in hornor of our mother and cousin Elena. We believe our Team provided a positve way to both fight my own battle with cancer and to make a contribution to the bigger war on these diseases. My new teammates and my family and friends are my real heroes now providing phenomenal support and encoragement that is keeping me going. I am so grateful for your support and contributions that enabled me to do this TRI.
Now, on to the next race, the Chicago Marathon as the honored teammate. I really appreciate all of the help and support that I have received my family and friends and I thank you all.
Please make a donation to support my Team and help advance the Society's mission.
I hope you'll visit my web site often. Call anytime at 212 961 1657. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!

David
