Racing to Save Lives
That's me with friends in Vancouver last May, where we completed the Adidas International Marathon as members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. It'll be another long winter, since I am once again training with TNT, this time for the New Jersey Marathon in April 2007.
The team will be raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We will be battling the Central Park hills and frigid temperatures in honor of those who can't.
I will be completing the New Jersey Marathon for all individuals who are battling blood cancers. They are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
