Welcome to My Team in Training Home.
Vincent Lombardi once stated, "The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined effort of each individual."
Over the next fews months and possibly onward, I will be training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are assiting to raise funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I have choosen to cycle 100 miles in Lake Tahoe in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please take the time to make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society's mission. Wokring together as a team to move in one common direction is the goal and you can start here.
Hopefully, you will visit my web site often. Please be sure to check back frequently for updates on my progress. Thank you - I truly appreciate your time and support.
Together as a team - we will help find a cure.

Week 1 - Feb. 1, 2006
The training has started and I am a bit slow to get going. The body just hasn't recovered since a rugby injury I incurred in the last minute of our last play off game a year ago. The result was 10+ fractures in my face - ouch. TNT is one part giving back to others and one part to help get my body in better shape/ condition. This week was slow but I have a long ride Saturday that will be enjoyable. Our teams L&L survivors will be riding with us. Thanks for all the support. Deb Rigdon - thanks for being the 1st to step up and help out. You are truely appreciated. I'll get a photo or two on here soon.

It's been one month and what a solid month. Things are moving right along - well - everything but training. I took a little vacation and then got sick. Just getting over my little illness and looking forward to getting back on the bike. Thanks to Bret Hatfield who is leading the charge in fund raising. Thanks for the donation Bret.
I hope all is well with every one. Time to get out and pedal around the lake. Take care.

Just over 2 weeks to go and everything is right in line. I just volunteered at the Nelson for 2 days and had a blast. Played a little bartender which was fun. Looks like my legs are ready and now I need just a few more bucks to round out my goal. Thanks for all the help and time. The support has been great.
