Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
I will be participating in the Wyckoff Triathlon on June 16, 2007 in Franklin Lakes, NJ, as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. I was training to participate in the Westchester Triathlon last year. However, due to a concussion sustained from a car accident...a hit and run nonetheless...I was not able to participate in the Westchester Triathlon. Even though my fundraising goal has been transferred from the last Tri, I greatly appreciate everyone's support and further donations!!
We are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
I'm completing this triathlon in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers and to my mother who has won the fight against endometrial cancer! They are my inspiration. I battle my fear of open water along with my back and hip injuries to prove I can do it. It is definitely a mental and physical fight every time.
