Racing to Save Lives

Hey Everyone! Thanks for visiting my Team In Training home page. On January 11th, 2005, I will be running in the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon. I am preparing for this 26.2-mile marathon with Team In Training. I will be running in honor of my five-year-old son, Noah. As you may or may not know, Noah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) at the age of two. Now, after three long years of chemotherapy, he just completed his regimen. Having personal experience with this life-threatening blood cancer, I feel it is my obligation to help find a cure. Medicine to treat this illness has come a long way, but not enough to alleviate the fear of my son’s relapse. But I cannot do this alone. In order to run this marathon, I need your support! The fundraising goal for the marathon is set at $3,700 per runner. I ask you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to support my efforts towards this important cause. A minimum of 75% of the funds I raise go directly towards patient care and research. Any amount you can give would be a tremendous help to me. It’s a flat donation and there is no minimum or maximum!
